Friday, February 3, is American Indian Day at the New Mexico State Legislature, and there’s lots going on! In the House Education Committee, funding for the Tribal Education Trust Fund is at stake. The Committee will hear House Bill 149, which provides a dedicated funding stream for the Trust Fund. Also on the agenda is House Bill 198, Career Technical Funds for BIE Schools.
