On Monday, Feb. 6, at 8:30a.m., the House Indian Affairs Committee will hear HB 148, a Tribal Remedy Framework bill supporting culturally and linguistically relevant early childhood education in tribal communities.
Please join us at the Roundhouse, Room 305, to show your support for HB 148.
HB 148 will ensure that Tribes can develop and deliver self-determined early childhood education and care programs, with state funding but without state interference. This will increase Native children’s access to high-quality pre-K programs that affirm and preserve their cultural and linguistic identities.
